摘要： The invention provides a golf ball comprising a core of at least one layer, a cover of at least one layer, and optionally an intermediate layer therebetween, characterized in that at least one layer of the core, cover and intermediate layer is formed of a golf ball-forming resin composition comprising (A) 50–95% by weight of a polyether ester block copolymer composed primarily of (a) high-melting crystalline polymer segments made of crystalline aromatic polyester units and (b) low-melting polymer segments made of aliphatic polyether units and (B) 5–50% by weight of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, the total of components (A) and (B) being 100 parts by weight, in admixture with (C) 0.05–10 parts by weight of a polyisocyanate compound. The inventive golf ball is improved in travel distance, feel, scuff resistance and impact durability.

摘要： To provide a method for producing polyester polyol that can provide a simple process to produce extensively improved production efficiencies and also produce the polyester polyol of stable in quality, an apparatus for producing the polyester polyol produced by the method, a polyester polyol produced by the method, and a polyurethane foam obtained by use of the polyester polyol produced by the method, polyethylene terephthalate and raw polyol are allowed to react in a reaction vessel to produce polyester polyol and also ethylene glycol which is a by-product of the reaction is distilled off and the distillate is modified in a modifying vessel so that it can have a predetermined hydroxyl value and then is fed to the reaction vessel again as the raw glycol, to thereby produce the polyester polyol.

摘要： An ester polyurethane foam is prepared by reacting a mixture of one or more polyester polyols with one or more isocyanates and one or more silicone surfactants in the presence of a blowing agent, such as water, and other additives, such as catalysts. The cured foam is chemically treated in a caustic solution to form a hydrophilic ester polyurethane foam having a water absorption rate of at least 20 pounds of water per square foot per minute, preferably at least 25 pounds of water per square foot per minute. The foam also has greater water holding capacity and wet strength than cellulose.

The polyol mixture of the present invention includes: a polyol that is derived from butylene oxide; and a hydrocarbon blowing agent such as pentane or cyclopentane, for example. Use of butylene oxide polyols of the present invention allow inclusion of a sufficient amount of a hydrocarbon blowing agent to produce foams having low density, without incorporating a higher concentration of water into a polyurethane foam formulation.

摘要： Hot melt adhesive compositions combining the characteristics of thermoplastic hot melt adhesives and reactive adhesives can be prepared by blending a polyester polyether thermoplastic elastomer having the formula ##STR1## wherein Nu is a predominately cyclic nucleus and R.sub.1 is randomly selected from either a C.sub.2-6 alkylene or an amorphous polyether subunit comprising a polyoxyalkylene group with a polyisocyanate prepolymer. The resulting composition is flexible and may be used as an adhesive or as a sealant.
