摘要： An injection-foaming method for a thermoplastic resin comprising using an injection unit 30 provided with a hopper 35, a plasticizing cylinder 31 and a screw 32, and a mold 10 having a mold cavity 10a of changeable capacity; filling the mold cavity 10a with a foaming-agent-containing melted resin injected from the injection unit 30; and then enlarging the mold cavity 10a for allowing the foaming-agent-containing melted resin to expand, wherein inclusion of a foaming agent into a thermoplastic resin is done by using a mixture of a foam nucleating agent and a foaming gas as foaming agent, feeding the mixture to hopper 35 or plasticizing cylinder 31 and screw 32 of injection unit 30 at a pressure of 0.1 MPa or more and less than 1.0 MPa, and contacting the mixture with a pre- or post-plasticized thermoplastic resin present in hopper 35 or plasticizing cylinder 31 and screw 32.

摘要： A molding die and a method for molding a molded article including a foam layer made up of faces extended in a plurality of directions are provided, by which all of the faces can grow up to a predetermined expansion ratio or more. To this end, a molding die 1 includes a stationary die including a main die 2 and a slide die 3 movable relative to the main die 2, and a movable die 4. The slide die 3 partially faces a cavity C and can move in a direction (Y direction) different from a die clamping/die opening direction (X direction). When a foam layer a2 made up of a face a21 orthogonal to the die clamping/die opening direction and a face a22 other than the face a21 grows in the cavity C, at least the slide die 3 moves in Y direction, whereby both of the faces a21 and a22 of the foam layer a2 can grow to satisfy a predetermined expansion ratio.

摘要： A process for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition foam body is provided that includes, in sequence, a step of injecting by an injection molding machine into a cavity of a mold for injection molding a foaming agent and a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising component (A), component (B), and component (C) below, component (B) having a content of 5 to 150 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of component (A) and component (C) having a content of 5 to 300 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of component (A), a step of holding for not less than 4 seconds after completion of the injection, and a step of enlarging the volume of the cavity by moving a wall face of the cavity to a predetermined position. (A): A hydrogenated product of a block copolymer comprising a block composed of an aromatic vinyl compound-based monomer unit and a block composed of a conjugated diene compound-based monomer unit, (B): a propylene resin, and (C): a mineral oil. There are also provided a thermoplastic elastomer composition for foam injection molding, a foam body formed by foam injection molding of the thermoplastic elastomer composition, a process for producing a foam body employing the thermoplastic elastomer composition, and use of the thermoplastic elastomer composition as a composition for foam injection molding.
