摘要： The present invention is directed to connection technology for providing a sufficient connection strength in bonding a wire material and a twisted wire each having a large diameter when directly bonding the wire material, which is used for a stator of an electric motor and a generator, and the twisted wire serving as a lead wire by ultrasonic bonding. A twisted wire having a plurality of core wires is hardened by ultrasonic vibration using a pressurized vibration tool when the twisted wire is connected to a wire material. After that, the twisted wire is reversed such that the hardened surface thereof faces the wire material and then comes into contact with the wire material. In this state, ultrasonic waves are applied to the hardened surface from the opposite side using the vibration tool, thereby connecting the hardened surface of the twisted wire and the wire material.

An impurity is diffused into both layers, forming a light-emitting area by creating a pn junction in the lower layer. An additional current-conducting area is formed by diffusion of the impurity into the upper layer. An electrode is formed on the substrate, making electrical contact with the current-conducting area, but not covering any part of the light-emitting area. The current-conducting area carries current from the electrode to the light-emitting area.

摘要： There is provided a method for arranging conductive bumps at predetermined positions penetrated through an insulating layer during a press integration stage to ensure electrical and thermal conductivities between a wiring pattern and a conductive metal as well as electrical connections between the wiring patterns. More specifically, the sharp tip of the conductive bump is subjected to plastic deformation to form the interconnections between the wiring patterns or between the wiring pattern and the conductive metal. Also provided is a method of manufacturing a printed wiring board. A synthetic resin sheet is sandwiched by the surface on which conductive bumps are formed into a laminate. The laminate is heated until the resin component of the synthetic resin sheet being is in a plastic state or up to a temperature not lower than the grass transition temperature of that resin. At that time, the conductive bumps are forced against the synthetic resin sheet and are penetrated therethrough. This permits positive connections with a high accuracy without forming a through-hole.

摘要： A start-up method of a steam turbine plant including a condenser is disclosed. The condenser includes a tube bundle composed of a number of pipes for condensing an exhaust steam from a steam turbine and a hot well for receiving and storing a condensate therein. The interior of the condenser is airtightly divided into two spaces with a partition therebetween, one of them being an upper space containing the tube bundle and the other one being a lower space containing the hot well. A communication passageway(s) extends between the upper space and the lower space with an isolation valve in the form of a butterfly valve disposed on the communication passageway. At the shut-down of the steam turbine plant, the isolation valve is closed to isolate the upper space from the lower space while the lower space is maintained in vacuum. At the start-up of the steam turbine plant, the isolation valve is opened after the upper space is evacuated, and the upper space is then communicated with the lower space which is maintained still in vacuum.
