    • An information processing device includes an OS having an interrupt processing function and an OS support system which is activated through initialization of the OS. The OS support system includes an interrupt managing section for recording the contents of an interrupt process requiring a high realtime performance, and an interrupt judging section for receiving an interrupt request earlier than the OS does when the interrupt request occurs in the information processing device, and judging whether the interrupt request corresponds to the interrupt process recorded in the interrupt managing section. The OS support system further includes an interrupt executing section for executing the recorded interrupt process when the interrupt request corresponds to the recorded interrupt process. The OS support system causes the OS to execute an interrupt process which is not recorded in the interrupt managing section.

    • An image data coding apparatus and method to achieve a scale-down of a circuit without sacrificing compression efficiency. Input image data is delayed in a delay circuit and a coincidence detector compares the image data and delay image data to output a coincident code when these two are the same. An adaptive run length counter adaptively switches to select either a coincident code run length of a continuous length of the coincident codes calculated at an output time of the coincident codes or an image data run length of a continuous length of the same codes of the image data calculated at a non-output time of the coincident codes and outputs an adaptive run length. A Huffman coder carries out a Huffman coding of the adaptive run length.

    • A vapor tank for processing a product by heating the same through exposure to vapor serving as a heat transfer medium. The vapor tank includes at least one partition wall separating a vapor chamber filled with vapor and a heating chamber for processing the product by heating the same for supplying a sufficient saturated vapor to the product. The partition wall is formed with openings for allowing the saturated vapor to be injected therethrough from the vapor chamber into the heating chamber where the product is enveloped by the saturated vapor. The vapor tank is provided with a recovery device for recovering the vapor flowing out of the tank through an inlet and an outlet for introducing and discharging the product into and out of the tank with a high degree of vapor recovering efficiency and with a minimum loss of energy. The vapor tank is also provided with a mechanism for externally supplying air currents to prevent the vapor from flowing out of the tank through the inlet and the outlet.
