摘要： The present invention is directed to the provision of premixed aqueous compositions which are used to provide a paint composition of varying finish characteristics at the point of sale. Thus, the merchant distributing the paint composition made from the subject premixed compositions need only maintain inventory of four compositions. The particular compositions which are the subject of the invention exhibit stable characteristics during storage in their respective reservoirs. The compositions include a pigment composition, a dispersant thickening agent, a high resin content binder, and a low resin content binder. The compositions are combined in differing amounts to produce paint compositions being suitable for either interior or exterior use and having differing sheens, quality levels, and color bases.

摘要： An orbital shaker which provides a shaking motion that is both stable and accurate to allow repeatability is provided, which allows for ease of cleaning of the shaking platform due to its mounting on a drive platform that keeps the entire drive system in an assembled state even if the shaking platform is removed for cleaning. A vibration sensor can also be provided that senses an unbalanced load on the orbital shaker and communicates with the orbital shaker controller to reduce the shaking speed in a pre-determined, trackable manner so that shaking of samples can be continued at a vibration level that is below a threshold value. Additionally, an incubating enclosure can also be provided in which a uniform heat is created throughout the entire incubating chamber in order to assure minimum temperature fluctuations between samples being processed regardless of their position on the shaking platform.

摘要： The water carbonation method and apparatus of the present invention consists of a square mixer within a carbonated chamber. The mixer is partially filled with water. Carbon dioxide is then added above the level of water. A rotating member attached to the mixing motor then mixes the water and carbon dioxide to form a carbonated solution. Varying the time for which the carbonation operation is carried on may vary the degree of carbonation. After the specified carbonation cycle, excess carbon dioxide is then relieved through an exhaust solenoid and the remaining carbonated solution is released through the dispensing solenoid into a cup.
