    • A blending scale for dosing and blending two products. The blending scale includes an auxiliary product dosing device, and an auxiliary product dispenser receiving the auxiliary product from the auxiliary product dosing device and releasing the auxiliary product within a dynamic unconstrained stream of the main product to produce and maximize a blend of the auxiliary and main products. A blend collector measures a quantity of the blend of the auxiliary and main products. A controller controls release of the auxiliary product in a synchronized manner with the dynamic unconstrained stream of the main product, based on the defined quantity of the auxiliary product measured by the auxiliary product dosing device. The dynamic stream of the main product is terminated once a targeted quantity of the blend measured by the blend collector is obtained. A method for accurately dosing and homogeneously blending two products is also disclosed.

    • A method and system collects and manipulates information from various sources for the purpose of determining the location of loads of material in a bulk material storage container and tracing the number and identity of bulk material sources, such as farms or processing plants, for loads located within a bulk material storage container. Such production source information is thus uniquely associated with a particular non-liquid bulk material load. Surface mapping of a surface of bulk material stored in a storage container is performed before and after material is added to the container, and are used to determine position of loads within the storage container. Embodiments of the present invention, using knowledge of the position of loads within the container, may be used for the purposes of preplanning and enhancing blended load-out batches.

    • The apparatus has a plurality of fluent-material-receiving chambers arrayed about a central, vertical pipe, and each chamber has a load beam extending therefrom. Gusset-type brackets, projecting from the pipe have slotted limbs through which the load beams pass, and opposite end of the load beams are coupled to load cells. Also, steel flexures are interposed between the limbs and the load beams pivotably to support the load beams thereon. Each beam has a counterweight fixed thereto, such counterweights being of weights which counterbalance the summed weight of its associated chamber and such components which are fixed to said chamber. Hence, weights of fluent materials introduced into the chambers can be directly read without there being a need to discount the chamber and components weight. Auger-type conveyors are provided for conducting fluent materials from each of the chambers to a blending tank. The latter has a mixing wand therein which is motor-driven to thoroughly mix the tank contents.
