摘要： A process for fabricating an electronic component having a hollow packaging structure comprises the steps of: (a) printing an organic polymeric material on at least a portion of a main surface of a ceramic substrate where a ceramic lid is to be bonded and curing the printed organic polymeric material to form a cured product; (c) hermetic sealing the ceramic lid on a surface of the cured product with an organic bonding agent; and preferably (b) irradiating ultraviolet rays onto a surface of said cured product to form activated bonding sites between said steps (a) and (c). According to the process, a hollow package mounted with an electronic component can be fabricated efficiently.

摘要： An ink-jet printing cloth is disclosed in which a selected type of polyethylene oxide is incorporated in specified amounts. The polyethylene oxide has a larger viscosity average molecular weight of from 100,000 to 3,000,000 and acts to pretreat a starting cloth material so as to be adequate for ink-jet printing. The ink-jet printing cloth,is highly capable of providing images of great color depth with sufficient brightness and sharpness but freedom from an objectionable bleeding. Also disclosed are a textile printing method using that printing cloth and a print resulting from this method.

摘要： Identification information of a speech spurt, hangover and pause is used to indicate that a digital voice signal is the speech spurt, hangover or pause. While the identification information of a speech spurt, hangover and pause is indicative of the speech spurt, a voice level adjuster does not attenuate the digital voice signal, and the voice signal/third signal combiner mixes it with a third signal which undergoes the maximum attenuation through a third signal level adjuster. While the identification information of a speech spurt, hangover and pause is indicative of the hangover, the voice level adjuster gradually attenuates the digital voice signal. This is because the level of the voice signal is expected to be high in the first half of the hangover period, but to decay in its latter half to such a level that it is dispensable for speech recognition. A third signal (noise), on the other hand, is gradually increased in the latter half of the hangover period to preserve the continuity in the transition from the speech spurt to a pause, thus achieving smooth transition to the pause. This makes it possible to reduce as much as possible the unnaturalness involved in switching between speech spurts and pauses, thereby improving the quality of the reproduced voice.

摘要： An apparatus for etching a WSi film on a wafer by using a plasma of a gas containing a halogen element includes a vacuum process chamber in which upper and lower counter electrodes are provided. An electrostatic chuck is provided on a table at the center of a susceptor or the lower electrode. The wafer is held on the electrostatic chuck. A focus ring surrounding the wafer in a complementary manner is placed on a flange of the susceptor. The temperature of the wafer surface is set to be lower than that of the surface of the focus ring while the plasma is being generated. The focus ring comprises an inner part of amorphous carbon and an outer part of tungsten. While the plasma is being generated, a halide of tungsten generated from the outer part is diffused on the wafer surface, thereby correcting a distribution of the amount of the halide of tungsten on the wafer surface. Thus, the uniformity within the wafer surface of the etching rate and etching anisotropy is enhanced.

摘要： A plasma processing device intended to plasma-process a wafer which is mounted on a mount in the plasma process vessel and clamped at the peripheral rim thereof between a clamping member and the mount. The wafer thus processed can be then handled when it is released from its clamped state. A plate spring is housed like a cantilever in a part of that portion of the clamping member which clamps the wafer relative to the mount, and a free end of the plate spring is projected from a recess which is formed on the underside of the clamping member to house the free end. When the wafer is clamped between the clamping member and the mount, the free end is housed in the recess, but when the wafer is released from its clamped state, the free end is projected from the recess to separate it from the clamping member. The wafer can therefore be left on the mount without adhering to the clamping member.
