    • A stabilization member usable for coupling first and second pivotal suspension components in a vehicle suspension stabilization system. The stabilization member includes first and second tension members each having a substantially U-shaped closed first end portion linked together to form a cavity for retaining a resilient dampening member, and a second end portion coupleable to one of the first and second pivotal suspension components, whereby tension on the first and second tension members is at least partially absorbable by compression of the resilient dampening member. In one embodiment, the substantially U-shaped closed first end portions of the first and second tension members is a strap material, which are oriented substantially perpendicular to form the link, and the resilient dampening member is a thermoset urethane material, which may be pre-compressed to permit adjustably tuning the suspension stabilization system. The stabilization members provide improved suspension performance, decreased weight and cost, among other advantages.

    • An end link is provided for a stabilizer bar of a vehicle suspension system. The end link includes a rod having pairs of grommets generally at each end thereof. Each grommet includes a bushing and washer which are interengaged and rotatable with respect to each other. Each grommet further includes a central passageway that which the rod is disposed within and permits pivotal movement of the rod only substantially in a single plane relative to the grommets and permits substantially universal pivotal movement of the rod around the center of the grommets. The end link can also include a like rod having a pair of universal ball joint structures generally at each end thereof. Each structure includes a universal ball which is integrally formed with a spacer, a bushing and a washer. The bushing is rotatable with respect to the washer. Each structure further includes a central passageway that which the rod is disposed within and permits pivotal movement of the rod only substantially in a single plane relative to the structures and permits substantially universal pivotal movement of the rod around the center of the structures.

    • A system and method are disclosed which enable post-fabrication reduction of minimum feature size spacing of microcomponents. A method for producing an assembly of microcomponents is provided, in which at least two microcomponents are fabricated having a separation space therebetween. At least one of the microcomponents includes an extension part that is operable to reduce the separation space. Such an extension part may include an extension member that is movably extendable away from its associated microcomponent to reduce the separation space between its associated microcomponent and another microcomponent. The extension part may be latched at a desired position by a latching mechanism. The extension part may be implemented such that the extension member eliminates the separation space, thereby resulting in such extension member engaging another microcomponent. Such engagement may be achieved without requiring power to be applied to the microcomponents. Certain embodiments are insensitive to etching inaccuracy encountered during fabrication.

    • A ground washer is disclosed for attachment by a grounding screw to a grounding terminal. The washer device includes a disc-shaped member which defines an opening for the reception therethrough of the grounding screw. The member has an annular portion having a first and a second surface, the annular portion surrounding the opening. The annular portion cooperates with a plurality of teeth extending from the grounding terminal towards the annular portion of the member. A conical portion having a first and a second end, is disposed concentrically around the annular portion. A raised annular ridge is disposed between the annular portion and the conical portion, the ridge cooperating with the grounding screw such that when the grounding screw is turned, the ridge urges the annular portion into contact with the plurality of teeth of the grounding element. An annular flange is disposed concentrically around the conical portion, the flange mating with the grounding terminal. The arrangement is structured such that when the grounding screw is turned, the conical portion resiliently biases the annular ridge and the annular portion towards the plurality of teeth extending towards the annular portion while the flange stablilizes the biasing of the annular ridge so that an even contact between the plurality of teeth and the annular portion is facilitated.

    • A system and method are disclosed which constrain a microcomponent that is totally released from a substrate for handling of such totally released microcomponent. A preferred embodiment provides a system and method which constrain a totally released microcomponent to a base (e.g., another microcomponent or a substrate). For example, a preferred embodiment provides constraining members that work to constrain a microcomponent to a substrate as such microcomponent is totally released from such substrate. Accordingly, such constraining members may aid in preserving the microcomponent with its substrate during the release of such microcomponent from its substrate during fabrication. Additionally, a preferred embodiment provides constraining members that are suitable for constraining a totally released microcomponent to a base for post-fabrication handling of the microcomponent. To further aid in post-fabrication handling of totally released microcomponents, a preferred embodiment may be implemented as a “pallet” having one or more microcomponents constrained thereto. Moreover, constraining members of a preferred embodiment enable the totally released microcomponent to be removed from such constraints when desired, but prevents the totally released microcomponent from inadvertently escaping such constraints. For instance, in one embodiment, the constraining members are implemented as moveable members that can be moved to unconstrain the totally released microcomponent from its base.

    • A pivoting gear damper for use with a rotary damper includes a toothed gear rack movable between a first position and a second position corresponding to movements in first and second directions.
