摘要： This invention relates to a polymerizable phosphazene derivative with a general structural formula.brket open-st.NP(A).sub.a (B).sub.b).brket close-st..sub.xwherein the groups A and B are bonded to phosphorus atoms through --O--, --S--, --NH--, or --NR-- (with R=C.sub.1 -C.sub.6) alkyl), and wherein A stands more precisely for a vinyl ether group or a styrene ether group, and B stands more precisely for a hydrocarbon group. The invention also relates to procedures for synthesizing such phosphazene derivatives. The phosphazenes derivatives of the invention can be cured by a process that is initiated cationically, which leads to a large number of advantages. The phosphazene derivatives of the invention can, in particular, be used as curable binders for paints, coatings, fillers, mastics, adhesives, moldings, or films. Paints or coatings comprising the phosphazene derivatives of the invention show especially high mechanical resistance and scratch resistance.

摘要： A method is provided for preparing polyphosphazene microspheres wherein the polyphosphazene microspheres are produced by coacervation. A solution containing a polyphosphazene is admixed with a solution containing a salt of a monovalent ion such as a salt of a Group I element (for example, NaCl) to form a dispersion containing polyphosphazene coacervate microdroplets. The dispersion then is admixed with a solution containing a salt of a multivalent ion, such as a salt of a Group II element (for example, CaCl.sub.2) to form a suspension of polyphosphazene microspheres. The polyphosphazene microspheres then are recovered from the suspension. Such method enables one to obtain high yields of microspheres having a controlled size distribution. Polyphosphazene microspheres containing biological material can be produced by providing a biological material in the polyphosphazene solution that is mixed with the solution containing a salt of a monovalent ion. The biological material may be an antigen or other biological material selected from proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides and synthetic compounds having biological activity.

摘要： The invention relates to a catalyst for preparing organosiloxanes and polyorganosiloxanes which are obtained primarily by polycondensation processes. The catalyst of the invention is a reaction product of phosphonitrilic chloride with a compound of the general formula �R.sub.3 SiO(R.sub.2 SiO).sub.m !.sub.3 P.dbd.O (I), where R are, independently of one another, identical or different, unsaturated and/or saturated monovalent hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or hydrogen, with the proviso that only one hydrogen atom is bound to each silicon atom and m has a value between 0 and 1000. Volatile chlorine-containing silicon compounds formed during the reaction can, if required, be completely or partially removed.

摘要： A method for carrying out a chemical reaction between at least two reactants occupying separate phases within a multiphase reaction mixture has been discovered in which at least one phosphazenium salt is employed as a phase transfer catalyst. The remarkable utility of phosphazenium salts as phase transfer catalysts is illustrated by the preparation of aromatic ethers. The phosphazenium salt phase transfer catalysts are shown to be especially useful in the preparation of aromatic polyethers such as polyether sulfones.
