    • The invention relates to a piston stopper for an injection device, for injecting a medical or therapeutic product by axially advancing a piston stopper into a product container, wherein the piston stopper includes a stopper body and a stopper body holder detachably connected to it, and wherein a membrane body is placed like a cap onto the stopper body and connected to it, the membrane body being formed from an elastic material, while the stopper body and the stopper body holder are manufactured from an inflexible material. The invention encompasses an embodiment wherein the stopper body holder supports a sensor which measures the pressure acting on the membrane body to enable the pressure to be monitored precisely, in order to detect leaks and blockages in injection devices.

    • The invention comprises a disposable hypodermic syringe with means for passive aspiration. The syringe comprises a barrel (10) of clear synthetic plastics material and a plunger (12) comprising an elastic bung (28) slideable in the barrel (10). Pressure on the plunger elastically deforms the bung (28). If this pressure is released the bung (28) resiles to effect aspiration. This aspiration is passive, requiring no active withdrawal of the plunger by the user. After use the syringe may be disposed of as a whole, with no disassembly, using one hand only. The syringe may be made by adapting cartridges conventionally used for dental local anaesthetic.

    • A safe needle tube structure is mainly comprised of an injection tube, a connection seat, and an injection handle. A blocking-and-supporting portion is pivotally arranged in the front end of the injection tube. A connection seat is arranged inside the injection tube. And, a connection portion is pivotally arranged in the front end of the connection seat. Two ring troughs are arranged oppositely in the front end of the connection portion. A fitting-in portion is in integration and in extension arranged in the tail end of the connection seat. A gliding trough is cut and arranged inside the fitting-in portion. And, an injection handle is also arranged through the interior of the gliding trough. A fitting-in block is in integration and in extension arranged in the front end of the injection handle. If the injection handle is pulled backward, then the blocking-and-supporting portion at the front end of the injection tube will make the injection needle stay at the front end of the injection tube and the injection tube may suck in medicine for injection. After the medicine is injected, the injection handle is rotated an angle to make the ring trough of the connection portion and the ring block of the injection needle be jointed to one body. The injection handle is moved backward to tail end. The fitting block of the injection handle is separated from the gliding trough of the connection seat. The injection needle stays inside the injection tube to reach the safe injection and recycling.

    • A syringe assembly includes a substantially cylindrical syringe barrel and a plunger stopper. Distal portions on the plunger stopper are configured to permit outflow of vapor from the syringe barrel during a lyophilization process. Proximal portions of the plunger stopper are dimensioned to engage the syringe barrel in sliding fluid-tight engagement. Liquid medication in the chamber is lyophilized and a vacuum is applied to the syringe barrel after lyophilization. The plunger stopper then is urged distally into sealing engagement with the syringe barrel. A plunger rod can be engaged with the plunger stopper. The tip cap is then removed and a diluent is drawn into the chamber by moving the plunger rod and the plunger stopper in a proximal direction. The syringe assembly then can be used in the standard manner.
