    • A debridement extension including a proximal end and a distal end, with the proximal end being adapted for connection to both an irrigation source and a suction source. The debridement extension includes a fitting adjacent the proximal end which includes both an irrigation port and a suction port. An inner cannula and an outer cannula are both attached to the fitting of the debridement extension and are, respectively, in fluid communication with the irrigation port and the suction port. A debridement tip is affixed to the distal end of the debridement extension and is independently in fluid communication with both the irrigation path and the suction path formed by the inner and outer cannulas, respectively. The debridement tip includes a plurality of irrigation apertures in fluid communication with the irrigation path and spaced about the periphery of the irrigation tip as well as a plurality of suction apertures in fluid communication with the suction path and spaced about the periphery of the debridement tip. The inner and outer cannulas of the debridement extension are flexible so that the debridement extension can be readily inserted into a tract wound for debridement thereof. The debridement tip further includes a plurality of external longitudinal flutes.

    • Continuous flow catheters, diffusers for catheters, catheters having a diffuser, and methods for continuous flow peritoneal dialysis are provided. The continuous flow catheter includes at least two lumens, of which one is short and the other is long. The long lumen is coiled and contains a plurality of openings. Another similar continuous flow catheter also includes a diffuser for the dispensing of fluid in a diffused manner. The catheters are used for peritoneal dialysis. The diffuser, for use with a catheter, has a plurality of openings for the dispensing of matter in a diffused manner. One method for continuous flow peritoneal dialysis includes creating an incision in the body of the user and separating the anatomical layers, making a circular suture in the peritoneal membrane, making an incision in the peritoneal membrane, inserting the catheter, and tightening the parietal peritoneum. Another method additionally includes anesthetizing the skin and peritoneal surface, making a lateral incision in the skin of the user, creating a skin tunnel, passing the catheter through the skin tunnel, connecting attachments to the catheter, and suturing the skin incision. The methods also include providing a catheter having a diffuser.

    • An irrigator used in a celioscope surgery comprises a main casing, a water pumping stud and a water control stud which are engaged with the main casing. An interior of the main casing has a pumping opening and a suction opening, and a water outlet channel and a pumping flow channel which are vertical to the pumping opening and suction opening. Thereby, the water outlet channel and pumping flow channel are at an upper portion of the main casing. Thereby, dirty water accumulated in the affected part can be pumped out from a water outlet tube through the pumping flow channel. Since the water is pumped out along a straight way, it is prevented that dirty water is left in some bending portions. Therefore, dirty water can be pumped out completely. Furthermore, users may hold it by any hand conveniently.

    • The present invention provides a single lumen gastro-intestinal tube for use in both delivering nutrition into the gastro-intestinal tract and aspirating excess materials from the gastro-intestinal tract. The single lumen tube may be delivered into the gastro-intestinal tract transnasally or surgically. The single lumen tube in accordance with the present invention includes a one-way valve which permits nutrition or other fluids to flow out of the tube and into the gastro-intestinal tract but which closes to prevent materials from being aspirated from the gastro-intestinal tract through the one-way valve. The single lumen tube also includes aspiration pores located proximately from the one-way valve. The aspiration pores perform the aspiration of air and excessive materials from the gastro-intestinal tract. Preferably, the aspiration pores are sized so as to filter any solids present in the gastro-intestinal tract from the aspirated material. A single lumen tube in accordance with the present invention may be used in alternating the delivery of nutritional or other materials to the gastro-intestinal tract and the aspiration of air and excessive material from the gastro-intestinal tract.
