    • The invention relates to a fuel injector for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber, having a solenoid valve for controlling a mini-servo valve. A movable armature can be placed in a sealing fashion on a valve seat in a lower armature chamber, wherein in addition, the mini-servo valve is held in an injector body and seals a control line against a flat seat. By means of the flat seat, during an actuation of the solenoid valve, the control line can be relieved of pressure from a high fuel pressure to a return pressure into at least one return line. A mechanism for reducing pressure oscillations are provided in the at least one return line, which includes at least one diaphragm cell which is held in a recess and which is placed in fluidic connection with the at least one return bore. A fuel injector with the mechanism for reducing pressure oscillations is therefore created in the at least one return line which operates without a leakage flow and has a simple and effective function.

    • A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines comprises a suction space, a fuel duct, an electrically actuated valve controlling the fuel duct, a fuel supply tank, a distributor having a distributing opening, a plurality of pressure ducts connectable with injection locations of an internal combustion engine via injection lines, a pump plunger which defines a pump work space connectable with the suction space during a suction stroke and during a control portion of the delivery stroke of the pump plunger via the fuel duct, while fuel is delivered from the fuel supply tank to the suction space connectable during a respective delivery stroke of the pump plunger via the distributor opening with one of the plurality of pressure ducts. The valve has a closing phase which determines a high pressure fuel delivery into the injection lines, a fuel return, and a bypass line is provided to a fuel return and branches from the fuel duct between the suction space and the valve.

    • A fuel injection pump of the distributor type in which to attain low injection rates in the idling range, longitudinal slits or longitudinal conduits are provided in the jacket face of the pump piston in accordance with the number of supply strokes of the pump piston. The slits or conduits are in continuous communication with an annular groove and the adjoining annular slide which is the quantity adjusting device of the fuel injection pump. By rotating the annular slide relative to the pump piston, the control opening can be moved out of the operating range of the longitudinal conduits and the quiet-idle device is shut off.
