    • PURPOSE: A balancer of an electric double layer capacitor is provided to form a complementarity circuit by using two balancing transistors as different polarity transistors. CONSTITUTION: A balancer(100) of an electric double layer capacitor includes a first balancing transistor(150) and a second balancing transistor(160). First to third logic circuit units prevent inner short circuit due to simultaneous turn-on of the first and second balancing transistors. First and second electric double layer capacitors(110,120) are connected in serial. First and second voltage detectors(130,140) and the first and second balancing transistors are respectively attached on the first and second double layer capacitor.

    • PURPOSE: A surface mounting type super capacitor is provided to improve airtightness for a space including a cell by sealing a lead with fluid molding resin after sealing the cell mounted on a wiring substrate with the lead. CONSTITUTION: A surface mounting type super capacitor(100) includes a wiring substrate(10), a cell, a lead(40), and a resin sealing part(50). The cell is installed on the upper surface(12) of the wiring substrate. An area having the cell is sealed by the lead. The lead is sealed by the resin sealing part. The cell includes a first electrode(21), a separation film(23), a second electrode(25), and electrolyte. The wiring substrate includes an insulated substrate body(11), and a circuit wiring pattern(13) formed on the substrate body.

    • PURPOSE: A substrate for an electric double layer capacitor, a manufacturing method for the substrate, the electric double layer capacitor, a manufacturing method thereof, and a substrate assembly thereof are provided to manufacture the electric double layer capacitor at a time using a plurality of electric double layer capacitors. CONSTITUTION: An electric double layer capacitor comprises a printed circuit board(10), a metal housing(20), a unit cell(30), and a metal cap(40). The printed circuit board comprises first and second copper thin films(12,13) which are attached to a lower side and an upper side of a ceramic substrate(11). First and second copper thin films form an electroconductive layer which leads current flow. A lower part of the metal housing is integrally combined with a first power collection pattern(121) and a ceramic substrate through thermal bonding. An inner circumferential surface of the metal housing surrounds a second power collection pattern(122). A unit cell comprises a first electrode(31) and a second electrode(33) which are arranged on the top and bottom of a separator(32) by interposing the separator.
