    • The present invention relates to a spherical friction type continuously variable transmission having a rolling friction supporting means in which an input disk is installed at one side of a spherical body, of which the center is penetrated by a shaft operating the spherical body, and an output disk is installed at the other side of the spherical body to transmit power with the optimized power density and power transmission efficiency when transmitting the power. Moreover, the rolling friction supporting means is provided to minimize rotational resistance of the spherical body when the spherical body is rotated, and to support the spherical body safely. The spherical friction type continuously variable transmission having the rolling friction supporting means comprises a central shaft (100) formed to mutually communicate to a plunger hole; a shift rod (200) which moves in a longitudinal direction of the central shaft as a shift rod transfer means (B) is operated; the shaft (300) operating the spherical body in which an angle is changed as the shift rod is moved; the spherical body (400) of which the center is penetrated by the shaft operating the spherical body; a spherical body supporting means (500) which is installed between spherical bodies; the input disk (600) of which the surface touches one side of the spherical body around the spherical body operating shaft to rotate the spherical body; the output disk (700) which receives rotational force of the spherical body to output the rotational force; a pressurizing disk (800) which pressurizes the spherical body toward the output disk; a secondary disk (900) which supports the spherical body; and a control device which controls the operation of the shift rod transfer means corresponding to the driving force of a power generator.
