    • An elastic surface wave resonator includes a piezoelectric substrate (11), an IDT (13) formed by a plurality of electrode fingers (12) arranged on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate (11), and a reflector (14) arranged in the vicinity of both ends of the IDT (13). The IDT has a gradation region where the electrode finger pitch of the electrode fingers (12) at both ends of the IDT (13) is different from the electrode finger pitch around the center of the IDT (13). The electrode finger pitch in the gradation region successively changes the electrode finger pitch from the electrode finger at one end of the gradation region toward the electrode finger at the other end of the gradation region. The electrode finger pitch of the electrode finger at the one end of the gradation region is set smaller than the electrode finger pitch around the center portion of the IDT (13) by 1 to 5%.

    • An SAW array sensor with improved sensitivity by cancelling crosstalk among SAW sensors is provided. The provided SAW array sensor includes: at least one input IDT; at least two output IDTs arranged in both sides of the at least one input IDT; and at least two delay line sections respectively formed in between the at least one input IDT and at least two output IDTs, and the length of the at least two delay lines are different. Therefore, according to the provided embodiment, the crosstalk due to a reflective wave can be minimally decreased since there is a time difference between directly received signal to one output IDT from the input IDT and receive signal to the output IDT reflected from the other side output IDT.
