    • A fuse system with serviceable connections is provided to replace a broken non-serviceable fuse with a serviceable fuse, without replacing the whole circuit board with new one. A fuse system(10) includes a non-serviceable fuse(20) disposed between electrical contacts(22,24), and a terminal system having terminals(16,18) for selectively connecting a serviceable fuse(30). The terminals are in electrical communication with the contacts, respectively. The fuse system is designed to be electrically connected at the terminals generally between a power source and the protected electrical component. The fuse system is assembled on a printed circuit board(12). The non-serviceable fuse is a trace of a printed circuit board configured in such a way, so the non-serviceable fuse blows and opens the circuit to disconnect the protected component from a power source when the current flowing through the non-serviceable fuse exceeds a predetermined threshold current level.

CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of the low temperature drying type conductive paste fuse-element comprises a step of drying the mixture at low temperatures after mixing a conductive metal, a binder resin and solvent. In addition, a manufacturing method of the surface-mount devices (SMD) micro-fuse comprises a step of drying and cutting a fuse substrate which is coated with a thermosetting epoxy resin ink after spreading a conductive paste fuse-element (3) to the fuse substrate (1) by using a metal mask and spreading a thermosetting epoxy resin ink in the fuse substrate. A rated voltage range of the SMD micro-fuse which is manufactured is AC/DC 32-250 V.
