    • PURPOSE: Methods for improving heat transfer and cooling efficiency in a turbulated cooling passage and for forming a gap are provided to make the gap prevent a stagnant flow region between turbulence forming parts by supplying an additional air passage, to generate an additional turbulence vortex and improve surface heat transfer as air flows through the gap, and to make the gap reduce the accumulation of dusts between turbulence forming rings and keep a cooling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving heat transfer and cooling efficiency in a turbulated cooling passage(10) is a step of forming a plurality of turbulence forming rings(14) in the passage and is composed of steps of projecting the rings inwardly, substantially perpendicular to a cooling flow direction in the passage; forming at least one gap(22) in one or more of the turbulence forming rings by using a patterned electrode; and substantially extending at least one gap parallel to the flow direction.
