    • The automatic gear device has a magnetic valve (8) for changing a position of the gear for a drive motor (9) by controlling an angle of inclination of a tumbling disk installed in the motor. The angle is controlled based on drive motor loading, and a driving condition detecting device (16) determines whether the construction device is driving or not. A regulator (12) outputs a command to the magnetic valve, to change the position of the gear for the motor, based on an identification signal generated by the detector. The regulator switches the valve on to change the gear position between two positions based on motor loading when it is detected that the device is driving. The regulator switches the valve off to enable the gear to be set to the first gear position in spite of motor loading, when it is detected that the construction device has stopped driving.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a traveling hydraulic circuit for construction equipment, which is operated by determining whether the machine should straightly proceeds or should be steered, depending on an output signal difference at a traveling control section during traveling of the machine or depending on whether or not a signal is equal to or above a threshold value of a traveling load pressure. CONSTITUTION: The traveling hydraulic circuit for the construction equipment is comprised of a plurality of hydraulic pumps 1 and 2 for feeding operating pressure oil to traveling motors 3 and 4, respectively, and traveling control valves 11 and 12 for the operating pressure oil. In the traveling hydraulic circuit, a switching valve 5 is arranged across a circuit connecting the left and right traveling motors 3 and 4 together. When a controller 10 including a straight proceeding determining function storage means and a hill-climbing determining function storage means determines that the equipment should take hill-climbing operation, based on an operating signal from a traveling control means and signals from traveling circuit load pressure detecting means (pressure sensors 13 and 13') arranged in circuits 20 and 21 connected to the traveling motors 3 and 4, respectively, the switching valve 5 is closed, whereby the operating pressure oil is individually fed from the hydraulic pumps 1 and 2 to the left and right traveling motors 3 and 4, respectively.
