    • PURPOSE: A device for steer by wire is provided to prevent the difference of geometry characteristics and to optimize the capacity and size of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A device for steer by wire comprises a tie rod(110), a coupling part and a motor part(300). One end of the tie rod is connected to a knuckle(101) of a wheel using a ball-joint. The coupling part is installed on the subframe of the car body. The coupling part is connected to the other end part of the tie rod. A longitudinal rotation axis is installed on the subframe using a bearing member to rotate. The longitudinal rotation axis receives the torque from the motor part. The traverse direction rotary shaft is installed to the subframe using a bearing member. The motor part is installed on the subframe.

    • A wide angle joint and a steering device for a vehicle using the same are provided to have a power transmission angle over 90‹ when it is bent, and to facilitate manufacturing and assembly of the wide angle joint with a simple structure. A wide angle joint which transmits power from a driving shaft(40) to a driven shaft(50), comprises a driving rotary plate(42), a plurality of first insertion holes(44), a driven rotary shaft(52), and a plurality of second insertion holes(54), a link member(60), and bearings. The driving rotary plate is mounted at one end of the driving shaft. The first insertion holes are drilled on the driving rotary plate. The driven rotary plate is mounted at one end of the driven shaft. The second insertion holes are drilled on the driven rotary plate. The link member with a bended portion(62) curved at a predetermined angle, has one end slidably inserted to the first insertion hole, and the other end slidably inserted to the second insertion hole. The bearings are provided in the first and second insertion holes for sliding movement of the link member.
