    • PURPOSE: A swash plate hold-down and centering mechanism is provided to remove defects such as vibration, noise, or side load applied on a biasing spring in operating a pump and to regulate the mechanism in an absolute neutral position. CONSTITUTION: In a swash plate hold-down and centering mechanism(55) for a variable displacement axial piston unit having a cylinder body rotating about a rotary shaft, a cam member(39) inclines about a horizontal axis and has a swash plate(37). The swash plate is set vertically to the rotary shaft in a neutral position with displacement position. The swash plate hold-down and centering mechanism biases axially and pivotally the cam member toward a cradle surface to the neutral position. The mechanism has a pair of arms(67,69). Each arm forms a pivot position(71,73) fixed in a housing on one surface of the rotary shaft in one axial end and a swash plate-contact unit(95,97) contacting with the swash plate on the other side of the rotary shaft in the opposite axial end when the swash plate is in the neutral position. The arm pivots the pivot position to the center by a scissor-type motion by linking operatively a connector(79) with the arm. The swash plate contacts with two swash plate-contact unit and is in the neutral position if no input toward the cam member by biasing the swash plate-contact unit of the arm toward the swash plate by a pair of springs(63,65).

    • PURPOSE: A swash plate type expander for preventing working fluid leakage is provided to prevent working fluid leakage between equipment adjacent to a wash plate and equipment adjacent to a piston member. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type expander for preventing working fluid leakage comprises a housing, a distribution valve(20), a rotating valve(30), a drive shaft(40), a swash plate(60), multiple piston members(50), and a shoe(51). Working fluid flows into the housing. The distribution valve is installed inside the housing and has a suction port and an exhaust port. The rotating valve guides the working fluid to the inside the housing. The drive shaft is rotatably installed inside the housing. The swash plate is integrally coupled to the drive shaft and is rotated with the drive shaft. The piston members are installed outside the drive shaft and rotate the swash plate using the pressure of the working fluid. The shoe is installed between the piston members and the swash plate and transfers the pressure of the piston members to the swash plate.
