    • PURPOSE: A bearing assembly having a hydrostatic bearing, a stage device using the same, and an exposure device using the same are provided to remove the adjustment complexity and reduce the cost by using the bearing assembly without a stationary guide. CONSTITUTION: A guide(8,9,10) has a top side on which a guide surface including a magnetic body is formed. A bearing is installed at a moving body facing the guide surface. A magnet has an opposing surface facing the guide surface and is installed on the moving body in order to apply magnetic attractive force between the moving body and the guide surface. A relationship between the guide surface and the size and/or placement of the opposing surface of the magnet is defined for limiting displacement of the moving body in a width direction by using the magnetic attractive force in the width direction.

    • PURPOSE: An active correction stage with a function of correcting the five degrees of freedom motion error is provided to improve transfer accuracy by controlling vibration damping using an accelerometer. CONSTITUTION: An active correction stage with a function of correcting the five degrees of freedom motion error comprises a guide support(110), a table, a driving device(180), and a magnetic actuator. The guide support comprises first and second guide planes crossing each other. The table comprises first and second surfaces facing the first and second guide planes. The air bearing is installed on the first and second surfaces of the table. The driving device linearly operates the table in an X-axis direction. The magnetic actuators supply a preload between the guide support and the table, and correct the five degrees of freedom motion error. The magnetic actuators vary magnetic force between the guide support and the table.
