    • An apparatus and a method for manufacturing molten irons are provided to improve melting efficiency and remarkably reduce environmental pollutants emitted into the atmosphere by increasing the reduction rate of iron ores in a blast furnace. An apparatus for manufacturing molten irons comprises a blast furnace(10), a fluidized heating furnace(20) into which blast furnace gas generated from the blast furnace is blown to heat fine iron ores, a hot mixer(30) for mixing carbonaceous materials with the fine iron ores heated in the fluidized heating furnace, and a hot former(40) for agglomerating a mixture of the fine iron ores and the carbonaceous materials that have been mixed in the hot mixer. The apparatus further comprises a fine iron ore particle separator(50) for sorting and separating fine irons from fine iron ores and supplying the fine iron ores having the fine irons removed therefrom into the fluidized heating furnace, a carbonaceous material particle separator(70) for sorting lump coal from carbonaceous material, a cold mixer(90) for mixing the fine irons with pulverized coal, and a cold former(92) for forming a mixture of the fine irons and the pulverized coal that have been mixed in the cold mixer to charge the formed mixture into the blast furnace. The apparatus further comprises a fluidized heating furnace dust collector(22), a blast furnace dust collector(12), a fine iron ore crusher(60), a carbonaceous material crusher(72), a carbonaceous material heating furnace(74), and a burner(14).

    • A tuyere of a melter gasifier is provided to prevent explosion from being generated within the melter gasifier by flowing cooling water into the melter gasifier, and enable life of the tuyere to be extended by preventing a tuyere body from being damaged. A tuyere(100) of a melter gasifier includes: a tuyere body(10); an oxygen blowing hole(20) penetrated into a central part of the tuyere body; a cooling conduit formed in the tuyere body; a grain coal injection pipe(50) formed in the outer side of the oxygen blowing hole through the tuyere body; and a protection pipe(60) formed to surround the grain coal injection pipe. The protection pipe extends to the outside of a rear portion(10b) of the tuyere body. The protection pipe has a socket(70) formed on an end portion thereof, and a guiding pipe(80) is connected to the socket such that the grain coal injection pipe is inserted into the guiding pipe. The protection pipe is made of high carbon steel. The cooling conduit includes a body cooling water chamber(30), a nose cooling water supply pipe(40), and a diaphragm.
