The auxiliary fuel inlet pipe is installed in the gas path to be separated from the contact surface of the gas path and the tuyere and has a front end unit which discharges auxiliary fuel. The nozzle is located at the rear end of the auxiliary fuel inlet pipe and constitutes a space for mixing oxygen and auxiliary fuel.

    • A tuyere for a melting furnace for increasing a race-way is provided to allow gas discharged to a melting furnace to have a straight performance by forming spiral grooves in the inner surface of the venturi section. A tuyere for a melting furnace for increasing a race-way comprises a tuyere body(20) fixed to a fire resisting wall of a melting furnace. A gas introduction hole(22) passes through the tuyere body. The gas introduction hole is prepared in the form of a venturi section in which an internal sectional area in one point in the longitudinal direction thereof is smaller than that of opposite end portions(24,26) through which gas is introduced or discharged. The gas introduction hole is formed such that one or more spiral grooves are formed in the inner surface of the venturi section in the longitudinal direction of the venturi section.

CONSTITUTION: A method for setting at least one coherent gas jet comprises steps for ejecting at least one gas jet out from at least one nozzle housed in a lance having a lance face(6) including a first ring(30) of ports around at least one nozzle and a second ring(31) of ports around at least one nozzle and radially spaced from the first ring of ports with each port of the second ring of ports aligned with the port of the first ring of ports; ejecting fuel out from one of the rings of ports and passing oxidant out from the other ring of ports, wherein at least one gas jet, the fuel, and the oxidant are passed out from the lance directly into an injection volume without passing through a recirculation zone formed by an extension on the lance; and burning the fuel and the oxidant passed out from the first and second rings of ports to produce a flame envelope around at least one gas jet.
