    • PURPOSE: An oxyhydrogen burner for producing synthetic quartz glass for a photomask is provided to produce the synthetic quartz glass with improved optical uniformity by having the total uniform density distribution, through optimizing the flow velocity rate of hydrogen gas and oxygen gas discharged from the oxyhydrogen burner. CONSTITUTION: An oxyhydrogen burner for producing synthetic quartz glass for a photomask has a multi pipe structure. The multi pipe structure includes a first tube pipe (10), a second tube pipe (20), and a third tube pipe (30). The first tube pipe is located on the center of the multi pipe structure for inserting SiCl4. The second tube pipe is located on the outside of the first tube pipe for inserting oxygen gas. The third tube pipe is located on the outside of the second tube pipe for inserting hydrogen gas. When a gap between the outer wall of the first tube pipe and the inner wall of the second tube pipe is G2, and a gap between the outer wall of the second tube pipe and the inner wall of the third tube pipe is G3, G2:G3 is within a range of 1:6.5-11.0. In the oxyhydrogen burner, the flow velocity rate of the hydrogen gas and oxygen gas is uniform, and the flow velocity rate of the hydrogen gas and oxygen gas is 0.4-0.20.
