    • PURPOSE: A joint-type bogie for a railway vehicle is provided to remove the need for a complex suspension. CONSTITUTION: A bogie(1) for a railway vehicle comprises two pairs of wheels(2). A pair of the wheels are connected to each other by a shaft to form axles(4), the axles are connected to each other by a chassis(8) and the chassis comprises two side members(10), which are connected to each other by cross members. The side members are located on the axles, the cross members are connected by a joint unit(18) and the side members are connected to the side member of another chassis by a bar(20). The bar is extended at least partially from a horizontal plane, which has different height from a horizontal plane, which passes the joint unit.
