    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for discharging a droplet, a method for discharging reliably a droplet, and an electro-optical device fabricated thereby are provided to prevent a spattering effect of liquid by miniaturize the size of the droplet and improving a discharging process of the droplet. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(10) for discharging a droplet includes a discharging unit and a droplet forming assistance unit. The discharging unit applies pressure to a pressure chamber(120) which liquid is stored in order to discharge the stored liquid from the pressure chamber to a discharging nozzle(140). The droplet formation assistance unit applies assistant energy to the discharged liquid in order to assist a process for forming the droplet. The assistant energy is optical energy. The optical energy is the coherent-light energy.
