A method for mounting a device (10, 200) to an end (120, 121) of a tubular structure (90) comprises arranging a rigid part (11, 13) of said device (10, 200) at a receiving portion of a mounting tool (20), inserting a small end of a conical portion of said mounting tool (20) into an elastic part (12) of said device (10, 200), wherein the elastic part (12) is arranged at the end (120, 121) of the tubular structure (90), and passing the elastic part (12) along said conical portion, thereby expanding the elastic part (12) until passing over the large end to be received in the rigid part (11, 13) arranged at the receiving portion.
