    • A gas lifter for a vehicle is provided to reduce operating noise of the gas lifter by preventing sudden expansion of the gas passing between a piston and a fluid path groove. A gas lifter for a vehicle comprises a cylinder(100), a rod(300) and a piston(500). The cylinder is filled with the fluid of the high pressure which is greater than the atmospheric pressure. On the inner surface of the cylinder, a fluid path groove of the longitudinal direction is formed. The rod is inserted into the one side of the cylinder. The piston is prepared at the end part of the inserted rod. The piston has the cross section which is cut down, so the front-end and the back-end are inclined. In the piston, the pressure of the fluid entering the fluid path groove is gently changed. The cross section of piston is curve in which the top end portion and the bottom end are bent. The cross section of the piston is in an ellipse shape contacted with the inner surface of the cylinder.
