    • Disclosed in the present invention is a composition for manufacturing high strength lightweight ceramic ware including i) 100 parts by weight of solid containing 40-75 wt% of SiO2, 10-35 wt% of Al2O3, 1-15 wt% of K2O, 1-15 wt% of Na2O, 0.1-15 wt% of CaO, and 0.1-15 wt% of MgO; ii) 40-60 parts by weight of moisture; iii) 0.1-10 parts by weight of a pore former; and iv) 0.5-10 parts by weight of fiber, a method for manufacturing high strength lightweight ceramic ware using the composition, and high strength lightweight ceramic ware manufactured by the manufacturing method. If ceramic ware is manufactured by using the composition for manufacturing high strength lightweight ceramic ware including fiber according to the present invention, the lightweight ceramic ware has significantly improved strength and fracture toughness through a fiber reinforcement effect in the ceramic ware of the fiber uniformly dispersed in the ceramic ware to perfectly solve problems of reduction of strength and fracture toughness caused by pores formed inside the ceramic ware by the pore former added for light weight, in order to be used in manufacturing of such as hygienic ceramic ware, tableware, or tile with high strength and light weight.

    • The present invention relates to a sculpture clay composition for manufacturing large-sized ceramic ware, a method for manufacturing large-sized ceramic ware using the same and large-sized ceramic ware manufactured thereby. More particularly, the present invention relates to a sculpture clay composition comprising: 100 parts by weight of sculpture clay including fireproof clay, kaolin and alumina; and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a metal oxide coloring agent. Also the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing large-sized ceramic ware using the sculpture clay composition and large-sized ceramic ware manufacture thereby. The large-sized ceramic ware manufactured using the sculpture clay composition according to the present invention can exhibit various colors ranging from faint ivory colors to red, blue and black according to the kind and content of the added metal oxide coloring agent differently from large-sized ceramic ware manufactured using general commercial sculpture clay that exhibits monotonous ivory colors after sintering, and diversifies the development of ceramic sculptures and increases worker convenience as the large-sized ceramic ware does not discolor after sintering at high temperature of 1280°C. Moreover, by manufacturing the large-sized ceramic ware using the sculpture clay composition according to the present invention, a manufacturing process is simplified and thus manufacturing costs are reduced as large-sized ceramic ware with desired color exhibited after sintering can be manufactured without needing to additionally conduct a step for painting color engobe after primary sintering to color a ceramic sculpture.
