    • PURPOSE: A scribing device using a laser is provided to improve an exterior, brightness, and uniformity of a light guide plate by uniformly controlling a focus of a laser beam even in a large light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A table(160) is installed to arrange an object(162) of laser processing thereon. A laser oscillator(110) emits a laser beam to the object of laser processing on the table. A head(140) is installed on the table, and applies the laser beam transmitted from the laser oscillator to the object of laser processing. An optical fiber(130) is connected between the laser oscillator and the head for transmitting the laser beam emitted from the laser oscillator to the head. A condenser lens is arranged between the laser oscillator and the optical fiber for condensing the laser beam emitted from the laser oscillator into the optical fiber. The table and the heads relatively move in X-Y direction.

    • A solid-state laser system is provided to improve the flexibility of a design of the system by allowing a pumping laser beam to be incident on a solid laser medium in the form of collimated light. A solid-state laser system includes a laser diode(10), a solid laser medium(30), a reflecting mirror, and a collimator(60). The laser diode generates a pumping laser beam(1). The solid laser medium generates a laser beam with a predetermined wavelength by the incident pumping laser beam. The reflecting mirror resonates the laser beam generated from the solid laser medium. The pumping laser beam generated from the laser diode is incident on the collimator. The collimator converts the incident pumping laser beam to collimated light. The pumping laser beam is incident on the solid laser medium in the form of collimated light.
