    • The present invention is configured to include a gear shift lever where a detent pin protrudes outward; and a lock lever that is rotatably mounted on a base coupled with a lower portion of the gear shift lever. The lock lever includes a rotating portion that is rotatably coupled with the base; a hook portion that protrudes from one side of the rotating portion; and a weight portion that is separated from the hook portion, protrudes from the rotating portion, and is heavier than the hook portion. When inertia caused by a vehicle rear collision acts on the weight portion, the lock lever rotates so that an end of the hook portion is positioned on the traveling path of the detent pin and the traveling of the detent pin is restricted. According to the present invention having the configuration described above, the lock lever rotates due to the inertia in the event of a vehicle rear collision and the movement of the detent pin is physically blocked. Accordingly, an unintended movement of the gear shift lever in an R gear is prevented, and thus a secondary accident can be prevented.
