    • PURPOSE: A solar battery is provided to form PN junction by welding transparent layers having different conductive types. CONSTITUTION: An n-type conductive layer(200) is formed on a transparent substrate(100). The n-type conductive layer is transparent and has low resistance. A p-type semiconductor layer(500) is formed on the n-type conductive layer. The p-type semiconductor layer is transparent and comprises p-type oxide. A first grid electrode(700) is formed on a partial domain of the n-type conductive layer. A p+ type semiconductor layer(600) is formed on the p-type semiconductor layer. The p+ type semiconductor layer is transparent and has conductivity bigger than the p-type semiconductor layer. A second grid electrode(800) is formed on the p+ type semiconductor layer.
