    • The record of an electro-anatomical map having a pre-acquired image using an ultrasonic wave is provided to enable a surgeon to perform a complex operation easily by using a three-dimensional cardiac image. An image of an object is previously acquired. An electro-physiological map of the object is acquired. A catheter(28) includes a position sensor and an imaging sensor. A positioning processor is connected to the catheter(28) to determine position information of a part of the catheter(28) based on an electrical signal transmitted by the position sensor. An image processor(42) is operationally connected to the catheter(28), and the positioning processor. A display unit(44) displays the recorded pre-acquired image, an electric-physiological map, and an ultrasonic image. The position sensor transmits an electrical signal which represents position information of a part of the catheter(28) within a patient body. The ultrasonic imaging sensor transmits ultrasonic energy to an object within the patient body, and receives an ultrasonic reflective sound reflected from the object within the patient body. The image processor(42) generates an ultrasonic image of the object based on the signal transmitted by the ultrasonic sensor. The image processor(42) determines the position information for a predetermined pixel of the ultrasonic image of the object. The image processor(42) records the electro-physiological map having the pre-acquired image and the ultrasonic image.

    • The record of ultrasonic data having a pre-acquired image is provided to shorten an operation time of a surgeon by using a three-dimensional ultrasonic image when performing a complex operation. An image of an object is previously acquired. A catheter(28) includes a position sensor and an imaging sensor. A positioning processor is connected to the catheter(28) to determine position information of a part of the catheter(28) based on an electrical signal transmitted by the position sensor. An image processor(42) is operationally connected to the catheter(28) and the positioning processor. A display unit(44) displays the recorded pre-acquired image, and an ultrasonic image. The position sensor transmits an electrical signal which represents position information of a part of the catheter(28) within a patient body. The ultrasonic imaging sensor transmits ultrasonic energy to an object within the patient body, and receives ultrasonic echoes reflected from the object within the patient body. The image processor(42) generates an ultrasonic image of the object based on the signal transmitted by the ultrasonic sensor. The image processor(42) determines the position information for a predetermined pixel of the ultrasonic image of the object. The image processor(42) records the pre-acquired image and the ultrasonic image.
