    • 본 고안은 펑크방지용 타이어에 관한 것으로, 타이어 제조시 타이어의 트레드부(Tread part)와 상기 트레드부의 좌우 양쪽으로부터 중심쪽으로 연장되는 사이드월(Side wall)의 내면에 연질 고무층을 형성하여 못 등의 뾰족한 물체에 의하여 타이어에 구멍이 형성되더라도 상기 뾰족한 물체가 빠지는 순간에 타이어에 생긴 구멍이 연질 고무층에 의하여 메꾸어지도록 함으로써 승차감을 그대로 유지하면서 타이어 내부의 공기가 급격히 빠지는 현상을 방지할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
      본 고안에서는 도로면과 접하는 트레드부와, 상기 트레드부의 좌우 양단으로부터 중심쪽을 향하여 소정 폭으로 연장 형성되는 사이드월로 이루어지는 타이어에 있어서, 상기 트레드부와 사이드월의 안쪽면에 자체 탄력성이 우수한 연질 고무층을 소정의 두께로 부착 형성된다.
      본 고안을 적용하면, 주행중 자동차의 타이어의 트레드부 또는 사이드 월에 못과 같은 금속물체가 박혀 펑크가 발생되더라도 상기 트레드부 및 사이드월의 안쪽면상에 형성된 연질 고무층이 자체의 탄력성에 의하여 못 등에 의해 형성된 구멍을 메꾸어 줌에 따라 타이어 내부의 공기가 급격히 빠져나가지 않게 되며, 그에 따라 승차감을 그대로 유지하면서 펑크에 의한 안전사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있다는 효과가 있다.

The sound absorbing material includes polyurethane, butyl rubber, butadiene rubber or silicone rubber, and the thickness of the sound absorbing material is 1- 5 mm. The noise of the tire is decreased with mounting the sound absorbing material in the inner part of the belt layer and the inner part of the sidewall.
