    • PURPOSE: An energy-saving type double layer window is provided to coat a thermochromic thin film on a board, thereby enhancing the cooling-and-heating efficiency of a building by controlling transmission rates of a visible ray and rear infrared ray domains according to outdoor temperature. CONSTITUTION: An energy-saving type double layer window comprises a first board(100), a second board(200), a spacer(300), a thermochromic thin film(400), and a transparent conductive layer(500). The second board is installed by being spaced from the first board. The spacer is installed in between the first and second boards, thereby maintaining a spaced interval between the boards. The thermochromic thin film is formed on the top of the second board. The thermochromic thin film controls transmission rates of a visible ray and rear infrared ray domains according to temperature. The transparent conductive layer is formed on one or more surfaces between the top and bottom.
