SOLUTION: The gripper has a main body 1 in which a passage way is formed for the rope 7 to be inserted. Two jaw parts 2 are arranged on pivot pins 3 off-center on either side of the passage way and are actuated toward the passage way to be pressed against the inserted rope. The jaw parts 2 are so formed and arranged to be displaced toward the rope by one-way movement to the passage way of the inserted rope causing the clogging of the passage way by the rope, and, on the other hand, to be shifted to the position to allow the rope slide freely by moving the rope toward the opposite direction of the passage way.

After the fitting portion 22 is fitted to the cutout 20, the pull cord 21 is wound around the fixed piece 17, so that the pull cord 21 can be fixed to the driving handle 13. The driving handle 13 is turned on the rotary shaft 10 by pulling the pull cord 21.

SOLUTION: A casing 1 of a pull switch includes a body in approx. box shape whose one side is left open and a cover 6 which is attached to the body 5 and covers the opening. The body 5 is furnished with a puller insertion hole 7 which is in communication with the first opening and is facing the bottom part of the box shape. An operation handle 2 is equipped at the tip with a riser part 8 which protrudes toward the opening from the bottom surface of the body 5, and the riser part 8 is furnished with a puller mounting groove 9 which confronts the tool insertion hole 7 and is directed to the opening of the body 5. One end of the tool 4 is attached to the groove 9, and from the hole 7 the other end of the tool 4 is led to outside the casing 1. The inlet part of the hole 7 is approximately blocked with a cover 6 installed on the body 5.

A power source cord 2 is wound around the string 1 of the pull switch or attached to it and connected to the pilot lamp 3. The power source cord 2 is connected to an upper power source and fixed to the string 1 of the pull switch. Even in a dark room at midnight, by lighting the pilot lamp 3, the position of the string 1 of the pull switch is easily confirmed. Only the power source cord 2 can also be used without use of the string of the pull switch.

The three strings 4 are bound with the same length with which the hook 5 is engaged, and the hook 5 is hooked in a ring 9 formed by binding a switch string 2 of a lighting device. Accordingly the timepiece 3 can be suspended horizontally from the string 2. On the center of transparent protection plate 6 for a dial of the timepice 3 a ring 10 with which a string 7 is engaged is formed, and the string 7 is engaged therewith.
