    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely connect a lamp to a socket even when the diameter of the lamp is different without needing another member for positioning the lamp to the socket.
      SOLUTION: A luminaire is provided with a lamp holding unit 7 with holders for housing the sockets arranged at both ends of a cylinder 2 for housing a straight-tube fluorescent lamp 1; and is so structured that the lamp 1 is inserted from one end side of the lamp holding unit 7, and a lamp pin 1a is connected to a conductive plate of the socket. The contact area of the conductive plate 9 of the socket 4 on the other end side of the lamp holding unit 7 is increased so that the lamp pin 1a contacts it against displacement of the lamp 1 from the center axis T of the lamp holding unit. Thereby, the tip side of the lamp tilts by its own weight into a space formed by the difference between the lamp diameter on the tip side in the lamp inserting direction and the inside diameter of the cylinder, whereby the lamp can surely be connected to the socket even if it is displaced from the center T of the socket 4, and it can cope with the case where the diameter of the lamp is different.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a movable contact point from deforming by external force without fear of electric shock by touching fingertips to a fixing contact point at changing of lamp, and with a stability of contact of the movable contact point and the fixing contact point.
      SOLUTION: The lighting fixture is such that a straight tube fluorescent lamp is kept in a cylinder, a socket 7 electrically connecting the lamp to a socket holder arranged at both ends of the cylinder is slid and stored inside a socket holder 6, and the lamp can be changed from one openable and closable end of the socket holder. Electric connection of the socket 7 and the socket holder is made from a sliding contact of a fixing contact point provided on an inner surface of the socket holder with a movable contact point 9 with elasticity provided on a socket side, and also, the fixing contact point is on a bottom surface of a recess made of an insulation material, and the movable contact point 9 has a protrusion 17 contacting to the fixing contact point. Since the fixing contact point is protected by the insulation material of the recess, an unprepared contact (shock) to the fixing contact point can be prevented. Also, a contact part of the contact point is protected by the insulation material of the recess of the fixing contact point side.

      SOLUTION: This waterproof switch 1 is provided with: a switch body 2 having a vessel body 3 having a contact switching mechanism, and an operation part 4 mounted to the vessel body 3 movably in a projecting/retracting direction and used for the operation of the contact switching mechanism; and a case 5 for housing the switch body 2 with the operation part 4 led out to the outside. The case 5 has a waterproof cover 7 made of an elastic material on its undersurface. On the waterproof cover 7, a deformation part 71 having an insertion hole 71 for inserting the operation part 3 therein in a state tightly fixed to the inside surface thereof and deforming in the projecting/retracting direction, and an expanded air escape part 72 having a shape with a part of the waterproof cover 7 recessed inside the case 5 are formed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drop of contact pressure of a socket side terminal and a socket holder side terminal, and to obtain a stable electric connecting condition.
      SOLUTION: The lighting fixture is equipped with a socket holder formed in a cylindrical body having an electric contact point on an inner wall, a socket 7 having a pair of terminals 9 around it capable of inserting and coupling in the socket holder and pressing and contacting to the electric contact point, and a straight-tube fluorescent lamp electrically connected to an end of the socket. A nearly flat surface contacting part 11a accepting pressing force when the electric contact point is contacted and pressed to the pair of the terminals 9 is provided to be located on both sides of a centric line T passing from a center between a pair of the spring terminals 9 to an axis of the socket holder 6 in a surface perpendicular to the axis of the socket holder 6 for each of the socket holder, the socket 7, and the insertion-coupling part 11. Since surfaces are in contact with each other at the insertion-coupling, a movement of the socket 7 in a rotation direction inside the socket holder can be substantially controlled by the surface contact. With this, an electric connecting condition with the electric contact point of the socket holder side and the terminal 9 of the socket side is extremely stabilized.
