    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhering matter removal device allowing easy adjustment of length fit to a pipe at site, reducing device cost and construction cost besides removal of adhering matter in pipes of small to large inside diameters, and applicable to a pipe having a bend. SOLUTION: A chain 2 is used for a rotation transmitting member, and an adhering matter removing member 4 is attached to a tip end side of the chain 2 with its rear end connected to a motor 3. The adhering matter removing member 4 rotates integrally with the chain 2, and is movable in the diametric direction with respect to the chain 2 by a centrifugal force in rotation. • PURPOSE:To facilitate removing of carbons by constituting a device with centrifugal brushes, revolving brushes, both inserted within a heat-exchanger, and a motor unit including a mechanism to connect and operate the revolving brushes and adjustable legs. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of centrifugal brushes 7 and revolving brushes 8 are inserted from a bottom portion of a heat-exchanger 2 after a combustion device is removed from a boiler. The revolving brushes 8 are connected to a motor unit 9 and adjustable legs 10 are adjusted so as to contact the motor unit 9 with the heat- exchanger 2 closely. When a device is operated in such a combination, the revolving brushes are rotated in the heat-exchanger and remove carbons, and carbons adhered to a part, where the revolving brushes are not being reached, are removed by spherical centrifugal brushes 7, being sprung by the rotating motions of the revolving brushes 8. According to this method, the carbons are removed by removing only a part of the boiler without dismantling whole of the boiler for a bath.
