SOLUTION: This luminaire has a main emission part 2 directed almost right downward and a subsidiary emission part 3 directed almost sideways, the subsidiary emission part 3 having the brightness being 3000(cd/m ) to 12000(cd/m ) in view from a range of a vertical angle being 60 deg. or more with a right downward direction being 0 deg., the light distribution being almost equally diffusive and the area almost sideways being 0.01(m ) to 0.04(m ). In this way, the impression of brightness on a road is increased 1.5 times in maximum, compared with the case that there is no subsidiary emission part 3.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent break of a lighting device and insulation caused by water drops drained by forming a drain hole in a lighting fixture part having a glass globe fitting to a pole part and forming a drain guide for guiding water in the drain hole so that penetrated water does not come in contact with the lighting device. SOLUTION: A luminaire consists of a pole part 20 and a lighting fixture 10, and a lighting device is arranged in the lighting fixture 10. A glass globe 1 in the lighting fixture 10 is fit to the pole part 20. A drain hole 13 for draining water penetrated in the lighting fixture 10 is formed. A drain guide 19 for guiding water so that water does not come in contact with the whole or part of the lighting device is formed in the drain hole 13. The drain hole 13 is formed in the bottom of a lighting fixture holder 9. The drain guide 19 is connected to part of the periphery of the drain hole 13 and hangs down from there. The drain guide 19 limits the dropping direction of water drops 11 so as not to reach a power source terminal board 5 which is part of the lighting device and a power source wire. Thereby, the luminaire is made electrically safer.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light projector comprising a extending/retracting support to place a light to a higher place being capable of easy handling for a our step structure adding to an effect of an existing gas damper type extending/ retracting support. SOLUTION: While a support 3 is being retracted, second to fourth tube supports 7 to 9 and an assisting tube support 10 are inserted in a first tube support 6 in that order, and a gas damper 11 is inserted in the assistant tub support 10. As a rod 12 extends according to the motion of the gas damper 11, the second to fourth tube supports 7 to 9 rise to be the extending/retracting support 3 in the extended state. Therefore, a light can be placed in the higher position than that of an existing three step structure support.

SOLUTION: This multifunction lighting stand has a ball joint 6 at the center in the height direction of a support 5 so that the lighting stand can be bent at a part of the ball joint 6. The bent support 5 is fixed at the angle of bend by a fixing screw 7. When an upper support 5b is inclined one side by the ball joint 6, a fluorescent lamp 8 of the upper support 5b obliquely projects the light upward and downward. Namely, the multifunction lighting stand 1 in this condition can light up the ceiling with the light obliquely projected upward, and it can light up a part of a floor surface with the light obliquely projected downward. With this lighting stand, construction of ceiling and construction of floor surface, which needs the fine accuracy, and a specified floor surface of an event place can be lighted bright.
