PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent break of a lighting device and insulation caused by water drops drained by forming a drain hole in a lighting fixture part having a glass globe fitting to a pole part and forming a drain guide for guiding water in the drain hole so that penetrated water does not come in contact with the lighting device. SOLUTION: A luminaire consists of a pole part 20 and a lighting fixture 10, and a lighting device is arranged in the lighting fixture 10. A glass globe 1 in the lighting fixture 10 is fit to the pole part 20. A drain hole 13 for draining water penetrated in the lighting fixture 10 is formed. A drain guide 19 for guiding water so that water does not come in contact with the whole or part of the lighting device is formed in the drain hole 13. The drain hole 13 is formed in the bottom of a lighting fixture holder 9. The drain guide 19 is connected to part of the periphery of the drain hole 13 and hangs down from there. The drain guide 19 limits the dropping direction of water drops 11 so as not to reach a power source terminal board 5 which is part of the lighting device and a power source wire. Thereby, the luminaire is made electrically safer.
