    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a V-belt type continuously variable transmission having an enhanced cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: The continuously variable transmission 67 has a primary pulley 51 and a secondary pulley 61, and a V-belt 66 is set over between these pulleys. The transmission 67 is accommodated in an accommodation chamber 70 of a transmission case 25, and the transmission case 25 is furnished with a cooling wind introducing duct 71 and a cooling wind exhaust duct 72. The primary pulley 51 is furnished with a centrifugal fan 73 to produce the cooling wind, and the centrifugal fan 73 is furnished with a partitioning plate 77 to partition a cooling wind intake hole 71a in the cooling wind introducing duct 71 from a blowout part 75b of the centrifugal fan 73. The partitioning plate 77 has a greater outside diameter than the centrifugal fan 73 to prevent the cooling wind from reversely flowing into the cooling wind introducing duct 71.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high speed of a bending work, and high accuracy of the bending without using a motor of the large maximum torque. SOLUTION: A press brake comprises a servo motor 20, a ball screw mechanism 50, power transmission mechanisms 30 and 40, and a control device 60. A first power transmission mechanism 30 reduces the rotation of the servo motor 20 at the first reduction ratio, and transmits the reduced rotation to the ball screw mechanism 50. The second power transmission mechanism 40 reduces the rotation of the servo motor 20 at the second reduction ratio which is larger than the first reduction ratio, and transmits the reduced rotation to the ball screw mechanism 50. The control device 60 sets the first power transmission mechanism 30 and the second transmission mechanism 40 to be a non- operational state and an operational state, respectively, during the bending operation. In addition, the control device sets the first power transmission mechanism 30 and the second power transmission mechanism 40 to be the operational state and the non-operational state, respectively before and after the bending operation.
