    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit rotation of an input shaft to an output shaft with the same velocity, and allow a crossed-axes angle between the input shaft and the output shaft to be regulated up to about 90 deg.. SOLUTION: This pulley type constant velocity joint for transmitting the rotation of the input shaft to the output shaft with the same velocity includes the first and second rod-like shafts acting as the input shaft and the output shaft, the first and second pulleys attached respectively to end parts of the first and second shafts, of which the each is inserted with a rotary pin in the central part, a wire wound onto outer circumferential edges of the first and second pulleys to interlock rotation of the first and second pulleys each other, and the first and second semi-circular support bases inserted respectively with the pins in the respective center parts thereof to support the first and second pulleys, and inserted with rotary shafts in both ends to allow relative rotation. The wire is wound in the outer circumferential edges of the first and second pulleys, to be crossed each other.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the durability, by a method wherein a friction due to a thrust load produced at a spherical roller, and a range of an angle formed by a driving shaft and a driven shaft is widened. CONSTITUTION:A convex sphere, having a roller chamber 2, at the end of a driving shaft 1 and a concave sphere 6 at the end of a driven shaft 5 are pivotably mated together, and a spherical roller 2 is fitted in a spherical roller chamber 2 so as to be given a free play and be hookedly positioned at a center of the sphere by means of a projecting pin 9 provided at the end of the driven shaft. An intermediate shaft 12 is inserted through an upper and a lower outward extending groove 4, which are connected in their respective radial direction to an upper and a lower portion of the spherical roller chamber 2 provided in the convex sphere 3, an upper and a lower inward extending groove 7, which are made in the concave sphere 6 and correspond to and are connected to the upper and the lower outward extending groove 4, respectively, and a center hole 11 in the spherical roller 11, the intermediate shaft being mounted by means of snap rings 17. Each spherical roller, in which a needle roller is put between the spherical roller and the intermediate shaft, and each cup washer are mated to the upper and the lower end of said intermediate shaft 12, and so matched components are attached together by means of the snap rings 17. This enables the intermediate shaft 12 to be held on a plane which bisects an angle formed by the driving shaft 1 and the driven shaft 2, whereby angular velocities of the two shafts are always equalized.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing processes and improve isochronism by projectably installing a pair of yokes on the opposite faces of a pair of shafts and by drive connection with roller-equipped spider member. CONSTITUTION:Spherical rollers 7 through 10 are installed between cylindrical recesses 3a-5a, 4b-5b, 4a-6a and 3b-6b, and in contact therewith, by integrating shafts 1 and 2 with two pairs of yokes 3, 4 and 5, 6 extended diahonally in the axial line and by coupling them are installed, and support rotatably and slidably the shafts 11c-12d of spider members 11 and 12 holding a joint pin 13 in a mutually rotatable manner. This allows rotation from the shaft 1 or 2 on one side to be transmitted to the shaft 1 or 2 on the other side by way of the yokes 3, 4 or 5, 6, rollers 7 through 10 and yokes 5, 6 or 3, 4 or by way of rotational motion of the spider members 11, 12 even during the crossing of shaft angle.
