    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic coupling capable of suppressing fluctuation of the axis while achieving reduction in weight.
      SOLUTION: The opening width L6 of a perforated part 40b is set smaller than the winding thickness L5 of fiber cords, so that the volume of the space of the perforated part 40b can be made small and rubber amount of a first elastic body 41 and a second elastic body 42 can be secured, in comparison with a case where the width L6 is set larger than the thickness L5. Therefore, when power (torque) is transmitted from a drive side collar 10 (drive shaft) to a driven side collar 20 (driven shaft), controllability can be improved. Furthermore, the width L11 in the radial direction of a thinned part 50 is set smaller than the opening width L6 of the perforated part 40b, so that an elastic body 40 can be approximated to a perfect circle shape and the torque transmission performance of the elastic coupling 1 can be improved while achieving reduction in weight of the elastic body 40, even when the weight of the elastic body 40 is reduced by the perforated parts 40b and the thinned parts 50.
