    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic shaft coupling that realizes an effective absorption of an axial displacement and a manufacturing method of an elastic bush while securing a comparatively high torsional rigidity. SOLUTION: An elastic bush 15 is composed of a cylindrical inner sleeve 17 that is put over and fixed an end of a yoke 11 by press-insertion, a cylindrical body 19 of synthetic rubber, etc., that is fixed and united to an outer circumference face of the inner sleeve 17 by vulcanizing joint and a housing 21 like as almost U-shape in its sectional view that is fixed and united to a circumference face of the elastic body 19 by vulcanizing joint. A housing 21 is consisting of a cylindrical outer sleeve 23 that an elastic body is inserted, a cylindrical elastic torque transmission ring 25 that is put over the end of a shaft 13 and fixed by press-insertion and a disk shaped web 27 that connects an outer sleeve 23 to the elastic torque transmission ring 25.
