    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a moisture-proof paper in which high moisture-proof property is developed even when a moisture-proof layer is applied in a low coating amount when applied on machine.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing the moisture-proof paper includes continuously applying a moisture-proof coating to a traveling paper-supporting body and drying the moisture-proof coating to form a moisture-proof layer. In the method for producing the moisture-proof paper, tension of the paper-supporting body between steps ranging from a coating step to a drying step is 2-6 N/m. In the production method, a synthetic resin, an inorganic layered compound and a nitrogen-containing compound are preferably included as the moisture-proof coating or the synthetic resin and a wax emulsion are preferably included as the moisture-proof coating.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a high gloss substrate sheet having excellent surface smoothness by preventing the generation of peeling unevenness and dent defects such as pit caused by the entrapping of air and the lowering of the surface property caused by the distortion of the substrate sheet in the case of forming an electron ray curable resin layer on the surface of a substrate sheet. SOLUTION: A substrate sheet is pressed against the surface of a forming substrate having a smooth surface interposing a coating liquid layer of an electron ray curable resin composition while transporting the forming substrate, the coating liquid layer is cured by the irradiation of electron rays from the back of the substrate sheet and the sheet is continuously peeled from the surface of the forming substrate. In the above production process, a nip roll made of rubber is pressed against the back of the substrate sheet in the case of laminating the substrate sheet to the surface of the forming substrate interposing the coating liquid layer under a linear pressure of 5-30 kg/cm.
