    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant regenerating method in which a lubricant can be recycled repeatedly by regenerating the lubricant of which lubricative performance is degraded.
      SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for regenerating the lubricant which is used for the wet drawing of steel wires. The lubricant after being used in the wet drawing is subjected to dispersion treatment under high pressure. The dispersion treatment under high pressure is performed under the condition of the pressure of 10-200 MPa by, for example, a high-pressure dispersion apparatus. A method can be used, in which a lubricant tank 11 for wet drawing filled with the lubricant 1, and a tank 12 filled with spare lubricant 1 are connected to each other, a dispersion apparatus 13 for performing the dispersion is installed between the lubricant tank 11 and the tank 12, and the wet drawing and the dispersion of the lubricant 1 are performed in parallel while circulating the lubricant 1 between the lubricant tank 11 and the tank 12 via the dispersion apparatus 13.
