    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detoxification method for intermingled organic chlorine compounds by which waste oils such as insulating oils containing a plurality of kinds of intermingled organic chlorine compounds such as a polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), a trichlorobenzene (TCB) and a tetrachloroethylene (TCE) can be detoxified without generating dioxins as by-products.
      SOLUTION: A mixed solution of a hydrogen donor and an alkaline compound is added to a waste oil such as an insulating oil containing a plurality of organic chlorine compounds to form a treatment liquid, and the treatment liquid is irradiated with a micro wave while making the treatment liquid circulate through a catalyst filled apparatus in this detoxification method. In the detoxification method, a plurality of the organic chlorine compounds are simultaneously decomposed by using three times or more of the hydrogen donor to the waste oil, or dividedly adding the mixture of the hydrogen donor and the alkaline compound.
