SOLUTION: A ship 1, e.g. a very large crude carrier is guided to a net 2 for preventing fouling (comprising a TiO2 net 21, sinkers 22 or the like), previously sinked in an expected anchoring area such as a dock and processed to expose the TiO2 to the surface and the TiO2 net 21 is pulled up with a crane 3 to wrap the hull with the TiO2 net 21. The edge of the TiO2 net 21 is then drawn near up to the hull, hauled up and fixed to both gunwales. The net 2 for preventing the fouling is stretched around the whole surface of ship sides and a ship bottom including the waterline L. Thereby, a photocatalytic reaction of the TiO2 net is caused to prevent the fouling and corrosion of the ship 1.
