    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antilock brake system which is applicable to a freight car free from an electric brake command line, and appropriately suppresses sliding by activating a sliding prevention control operation section without depending on a braking condition. SOLUTION: The antilock brake system includes a braking force generating mechanism 1 to generate braking force by air pressure; a speed sensor 2; the sliding prevention control operation section 3 which performs braking distinction processing and sliding distinction processing based on a rotational speed signal from the speed sensor 2, and outputs a sliding prevention signal when it is a sliding state; a sliding prevention valve 4 to perform re-adhesion operation upon receipt of the sliding prevention signal; a generator 5 to generate electric power based on the rotational motion of wheels; an electric storage section 6 to supply the electric power to the sliding prevention control operation section 3; and a voltage creation charging control section 7 to create a predetermined voltage based on the output of the generator 5. An antilock brake X supplies the electric power to the sliding prevention control operation section 3 by a high-level priority voltage between the generator output from the voltage creation charging control section 7, and the electric storage output of the electric storage section 6.
