摘要： A recording drum has a clamp groove extending in its circumferential direction formed on its outer peripheral surface. A plurality of front end clamps are attached to the outer peripheral surface of the recording drum. Rear end clamps are attached so as to be movable and so as to be fixable along the clamp groove on the outer peripheral surface of the recording drum. A recording head is disposed ahead of the recording drum, and a clamp driving device is disposed behind the recording drum. The clamp driving device comprises a first driving device for fixing the front end clamps and fixing and releasing the rear end clamps and a second driving device for releasing the front end clamps. The front end clamps and the rear end clamps reliably fix a front end and a rear end of a plate to the outer peripheral surface of the recording drum by a reaction force produced by a spring and a centrifugal force produced by the rotation of the recording drum.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the proper positioning of media provided with different widths on a medium supporting surface by permitting the medium to be brought into contact at a medium edge side when it is moved to a set position on the supporting surface and also restricting the movement of a movable member at a point where the movable member is brought into contact with a positioning member. SOLUTION: A positioning device is provided with positioning pins 18 and 18' and positioning bars 24 and 24'. The positioning pins 18 or 18' being movable in parallel with the axial line x-x of a cylindrical drum 20 are constituted so as to be brought into contact by the medium edge side 10a when the medium 10' is moved to the set position on an arrangement surface 22 so as to be moved with it. The positioning bars 24 or 24' provided with a reference surface being substantially in parallel with the medium edge side 10a in the set position are constituted so as to permit the medium 10' to be positioned at the set position on the arrangement surface 22 and to restrict the movement of the positioning pin 18 or 18' at a point where the positioning pins 18 or 18' is brought into contact with the positioning bars 24 or 24'.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an image recording apparatus wherein an oblique running of a film is allowed during exposure recording by simple and inexpensive constitution. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft 12a of a sensitive material roll is held by a bearing member 151 so as to be freely slidable over a predetermined range in its axial direction and, when the oblique running or meandering of a film is generated during feed and the tensions at both left and right ends of the film become different, the sensitive material roll is moved in its axial direction relaxing tensions to automatically eliminate the oblique running or meandering of the film. When it is detected that the displacement quantity of the sensitive material roll 12 in the axial direction reaches a predetermined threshold value or more by a displacement detection sensor 17, the sensitive material roll 12 is set to an initial position 12 before the start of next image recording by a centering mechanism and the oblique running of the film is corrected to transfer to next image recording. By this constitution, accurate image recording can be performed in such a state that the oblique running of the film is always corrected.
